All other ground is sinking sand. 2) When darkness veils his lovely face, I rest on his unchanging grace; In every high and stormy gale My anchor holds within the veil. 3) His oath, his covenant, his blood Sustain me in the raging flood; When all supports are washed away, He then is all my hope and stay. 4) When he shall come with trumpet sound, Oh, may I then in him be found, Clothed in his righteousness alone, Redeemed to stand before the throne! PROCLAIMING OUR FAITH: People: I believe in God who is Father, the creator of all that is; in his only Son, who is Jesus Christ, Savior and Redeemer of all that come to Him as Lord; and in the Holy Spirit, who creates faith, sanctifies God’s people in growing closer to God and each other, comforting us, counseling us, and guiding us in the ways to live in holiness and righteousness all our days. Amen. PRAYERS OF THE PEOPLE LORD’S PRAYER: Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever. Amen.
