Retired: Pastor Jody Neifert

Pastor Jody was ordained in 1983 by the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA) after completing the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Philadelphia PA. He celebrated his 35th year at St. John’s where his unconventional approach to leadership blends humor, contemplation, and straightforward conversations.  Throughout his years at St. Johns, Pastor Jody performed hundreds of baptisms, weddings, and (sadly) funerals as minister of St. John’s. His wife, Kim, has been involved in the church from that same time, and was the Sunday School Director for many years. Pastor Jody retired after his final Christmas Eve service in 2020.  Read more about Pastor Jody’s work at St. John’s in a Times News Article from his 30th anniversary!

St. John’s is currently in  the process of finding our new minister. To find out more, please contact the church.
